Accessible parking is available 24 hours a day and includes ADA designated spaces in all parking areas. Vehicles properly displaying a valid handicap permit may use these spaces. All shuttle buses are equipped with lift gear to accommodate wheelchairs and electric scooters.

Those who need wheelchair assistance can arrange that directly with their airline. We strongly recommend making requests in advance to ensure availability and timely service.

Passengers can also contact TSA Cares for additional assistance during screening.

The Journey Care Kit provides resources for travelers with visible and hidden disabilities. Kits include sunflower-themed wristbands and lanyards that indicate to airport staff that someone might need additional assistance.

We also have a social story, “Journey Care Kit: Ready to take off!”┬áthat can be accessed and downloaded ahead of your travels.

Contact [email protected] to have a kit sent to you.

A Universal Changing Table is available at John Glenn International to be deployed in family restrooms pre-security and in each concourse by calling 614.239.4029. See signage in applicable restrooms to request delivery and download use instructions.

Our airport offers private nursing rooms in each concourse. Nursing parents can feed their babies and manage personal needs in comfort and privacy in these nursing rooms.

All restrooms are fully equipped with wheelchair access. Family restrooms are also conveniently located throughout the terminal for families traveling with small children, an elderly parent, or someone requiring special accommodation.

Tactile Braille designations appear in each public elevator and directional signage. Wayfinding assistance is available from Airport Ambassadors stationed in centrally located information centers on baggage claim and ticketing.

Aira helps blind and low-vision travelers navigate our airport facilities better. Using geofencing technology, a smartphone app, and/or smart glasses, Aira connects visually-impaired travelers with a trained, remotely-located agent who can guide them. John Glenn International is among more than 30 U.S. airports offering this service. To access, you can download the app for Android or Apple devices.

Visual paging displays are available on our Flight and Baggage Information Display System (FIDS/BIDS) for hearing impaired passengers and others to view important airport information.
