COLUMBUS, Ohio — Beginning Monday, May 4, 2026, the Walking Lot will permanently close to new parkers to make way for the new public safety building planned as part of CMH Next, the new terminal project at John Glenn Columbus International Airport.

Customers who use the Walking Lot for short-term parking are encouraged to use the airport’s valet service or parking garage. The Red or Green Shuttle Lots are also available. Passengers can check real-time parking availability on our website, FlyColumbus.com.

The new public safety building will include offices, training facilities, and the public safety communications center.
