COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus Regional Airport Authority President & CEO Daren Griffin today welcomed the addition of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, to the list of nonstop international destinations from John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH).
“We’re continuing to expand international service from Columbus with the addition of Punta Cana,” said Griffin. “For the first time in more than a decade, Columbus travelers can skip the layover and fly directly to one of the world’s most beautiful vacation spots. Breeze Airways’ continued investment in CMH is making the world more accessible for our passengers, and we are proud to support their ongoing growth as they connect our city to more international destinations.”
“We are thrilled to be giving our guests their only nonstop Caribbean Island destination right from their hometown airport,” said David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways. “Breeze currently offers 14 nonstop destinations from CMH, and we know our guests love the added convenience and affordability that Breeze brings. And now they’ll be able to travel to a great international destination, without the hassle of connecting through a major hub.”
This twice-weekly, seasonal flight will begin on January 8, 2027. Breeze will mark five years of service at CMH in July. Find all of Breeze’s nonstop routes on our website at FlyColumbus.com.
