Airport badging

Airside and landside, the Columbus Regional Airport Authority is committed to safety and security. Those who work at our airports or require unescorted access to restricted areas are required to possess airport-issued access badges.

New employees or contractors will have to work with their employer to register for a Columbus Regional Airport Authority badge. Follow the steps below to complete the registration process.

Badging process

Step 1

Complete a Badge Application form and have your Authorizing Requesting Official (ARO) sign the paperwork.

Step 2

Set up an appointment with the ID office for a fingerprint-based background check at the correct airport.

Step 3

Complete the mandatory online badge training.

Step 4

Pick up your badge!

Lost or stolen badge

If your badge has been lost or stolen, please take urgent action to let us know. Complete the Lost or Stolen Badge form and bring it to the ID Office as soon as possible. Contact the airport’s Communication Center at 614.239.4029 to deactivate your badge outside of normal office hours.
