COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus Regional Airport Authority President & CEO Daren Griffin today congratulated Southwest Airlines after their announcement of a new nonstop route from John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) to Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, beginning February 13, 2027.
“San Juan has been one of our top unserved destinations, and we are grateful to Southwest Airlines for introducing this nonstop service starting in February – just in time for midwinter getaways,” said Griffin. “As our largest carrier, Southwest continues to be a strong partner, expanding opportunities for Central Ohio travelers to reach the destinations that matter most to them.”
This Saturday-only flight is the second new nonstop destination debuting in 2027 for Columbus travelers – and it’s the 12th new flight announcement since the beginning of 2026. See all 55+ nonstop destinations from Columbus airports at FlyColumbus.com.
