60% design renderings for the new CMH terminal
COLUMBUS, OH — The Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) continues to make progress on the new terminal project for John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) with the CRAA Board of Directors recently approving the initial construction bid package. The milestone is marked with the launch of CMHNext.com – an information hub for the new terminal project that will be updated throughout the life of the project.
The new terminal will deliver a first-class airport experience for travelers, and CMHNext.com is designed to ensure there is constant communication with the greater Columbus community. This site provides important information on the status and progress of the terminal while highlighting new enhancements to the passenger experience.
“The new terminal for John Glenn International is beginning to take shape and we’re excited to share its progress,” said Joseph R. Nardone, President & CEO of CRAA. “We are committed to delivering a state-of-the-art terminal that meets and exceeds the needs of travelers today and into the future.”
New renderings available on the site reflect progress made at the completion of the 60% design development phase, as plans continue to be refined. The new images include proposed views of the ticketing lobby, security checkpoint, central marketplace, and concourse.
