CRAA announces key executive appointments

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) President & CEO Daren Griffen, A.A.E., today announced the following changes to CRAA’s Executive Team:

Casey Denny, A.A.E., will serve as the CRAA’s Chief Development Officer, where his work will focus on creating jobs and maximizing CRAA’s economic impact in Central Ohio alongside regional partners. With more than 35 years of experience in the airport industry, he will lead CRAA’s air service, concessions, real estate, and aviation services teams. Denny previously served on the Executive Team as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Asset Officer having joined CRAA in 2015. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Technology: Airway Science Management from Arizona State University and is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), previously serving as Chair of the AAAE Board of Examiners and as president of both state and regional airport associations.

Marc M. Sethna, A.A.E., will serve as the CRAA’s Chief Operations Officer, providing strategic leadership for the airport operations, public safety, facility maintenance, airfield and fleet maintenance, technical systems, aviation security, custodial services, and shipping and receiving teams. With decades of experience, Sethna previously served as Director of Terminal & Facilities. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve. Sethna is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) who serves on the board of the American Association of Airport Executives, is a Past President of the Great Lakes Chapter AAAE, and is a private pilot.

“As we embark on the most significant transformation in CRAA’s history, the breadth of experience Casey and Marc bring to these executive roles is foundational to our success,” said Griffin. “Both are seasoned leaders whose strategic vision will be instrumental as we navigate the transition to our new terminal, ensuring we continue to drive economic growth and operational excellence for Central Ohio.”

Denny and Sethna join Chief Financial Officer Fabio Spino, MBA, and Chief Planning & Engineering Officer Tom McCarthy, C.M., on the Executive Team.
