COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) today announced the promotion of Cammi Wing to Chief People Officer.
In this role, Wing will provide strategic leadership for CRAA’s overarching people strategy, ensuring complete alignment with the organization’s goals. She will oversee all key Human Resources functions, including employee and labor relations, learning and talent management, talent acquisition, organizational design, organizational change management, employee engagement, benefits, and compensation.
“Cammi has been instrumental in my transition into the CEO role and has played a vital part in the recruitment and placement of our new executive team,” said CRAA President & CEO Daren Griffin. “I am excited to continue working alongside her and this talented leadership team as we advance our mission on behalf of our customers and stakeholders, while further establishing CRAA as an employer of choice in our region.”
A CRAA employee since 2019, she has held multiple roles of increasing scope and responsibility, most recently serving as Interim Chief People Officer.
Prior to her tenure with CRAA, Wing had senior-level human resources roles at White Castle Management, The Crane Group, and The Buckeye Ranch.
Wing has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from The Ohio State University. She is also recognized as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) with the Society of Human Resource Management and is a Prosci-certified Change Management Practitioner.
Wing joins an executive team that has undergone significant growth and transformation over the past year. She follows the recent additions of John McClelland, Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer, and Onnie Jacque, General Counsel, who joined CRAA earlier this month. She will also serve alongside longtime CRAA leaders Casey Denny, Chief Development Officer, and Marc Sethna, Chief Operations Officer, both of whom stepped into their current roles earlier this year, as well as Tom McCarthy, Chief Planning & Engineering Officer, and Fabio Spino, Chief Financial Officer. Together, they complete CRAA’s executive team alongside President & CEO Daren Griffin.
