COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus Regional Airport Authority leaders today applauded United Airlines’ announcement that they will add a daily nonstop flight between Los Angeles International Airport and John Glenn Columbus International Airport in March.

“This service is a significant win for the hundreds of passengers who travel between Central Ohio and the Los Angeles area every day,” said Betsy Taylor, Manager, Passenger Airline Business Development at Columbus Regional Airport Authority. “As our largest underserved destination, additional service to Los Angeles was a top priority as business ties between the two areas continue to grow. We appreciate United Airlines recognizing this demand and connecting us directly to the West Coast destinations we care about.”

This follows United Airlines’ November announcement that they will seasonally increase their flights between San Francisco and Columbus to twice a day beginning in May 2026.

The new flights to Los Angeles will begin on March 29, 2026, departing John Glenn Columbus International Airport at 7:25 a.m. Return flights will depart Los Angeles at 11:00 a.m. Passengers may begin booking this route on Friday.

With this addition, United Airlines now connects Columbus to each of its hubs in the United States, allowing connectivity to destinations across the globe.
