Celtic cuisine at CMH

Sandwich and fries from Celtic cuisine at CMH airport.

Beyond corned beef and cabbage

Green is the color of March, and CMH’s restaurants have plenty of emerald options as well as some Irish-inspired items. No luck needed as these are all delicious choices!

Charleys

What’s more Irish than potatoes? Stop by the food court and check out Charleys’ gourmet fries. Go big or go home by ordering them “ultimate” – they’ll come topped with cheddar cheese sauce, bacon and ranch.

Chili’s Too

Concourse A’s Chili’s Too has a unique starter in the southwestern eggrolls. Crispy flour tortillas are filled with chicken, black beans, corn, jalapeno jack cheese, red peppers and green spinach, and then they get even greener with an avocado-ranch sauce.

Donatos

In Concourses A and C, local favorite Donatos has a variety of salads to add a little leprechaun green. Airport staff recommend the Italian Chef Salad. It’s substantial enough for a cold March day, with pepperoni, ham, salami, tomatoes and even more green with crispy peppers, topped with black olives, smoked provolone and Romano cheese. Pro tip: Add a side of breadsticks for some garlic carby goodness.

Eddie George’s Grille 27

A typical Irish breakfast includes meat like bacon or sausage, eggs, vegetables and potato all fried in butter and served with bread. Eddie George’s in Concourse B has a take on that with its Corner Deli sandwich. A perfectly toasted bagel with bacon, a fried egg, cheese, tomato and avocado hits the spot and feels like an American take on the Irish breakfast. It also has a sriracha aioli which you can get on the side if you’re spice-cautious.

Farmer’s Fridge

From salads to pesto pasta, there is a lot of greenery to be found in these fresh-food-filled vending machines that are located in all concourses and in the food court. The pesto pasta is delicious and herby, and comes as a side or snack portion. Another great choice is the southwest salad with chipotle chicken. Full of lots of flavor and colors, it also has black beans so it’s protein-packed with just the right amount of kick for a satisfying preflight meal. On the side of the machine, you’ll find bowls, cutlery and napkins. A one-stop shop! And, making this an even greener meal, these containers can be recycled right in the machine. Pro tip: These containers are great to keep and reuse… just don’t put them in the dishwasher.

Hangar 815

How about a patty melt for St. Patty’s Day? Hangar 815 is pre-security and is serving up this great burger that’s huge with two beef patties, Swiss fondue, mushrooms, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on rustic rye. Wanna top it with a fried egg? You can do that for just $2 more. Comes with fries or sea salt kettle chips.

Land Grant

Maybe not the greenest item on this list, but still worth every bite, this Concourse B restaurant features loaded potato chips. Lettuce and green onion join tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, ranch, bacon and BBQ sauce for a truly unique and delicious appetizer. And, you can buy some local color with a Land Grant T-shirt.

PGA Tour Grill

Get a little green by way of avocado and lettuce on PGA Tour Grill’s smoked turkey BLTA. Turkey with a better-than-mayo aioli on toasted sourdough and brimming with crisp bacon, arugula, avocado spread and tomato, this comes with crispy hot fries. Bonus: This came out very quickly by the attentive staff and, with contactless payment and right by Concourse C’s security checkpoint, eating here is a total breeze.

Starbucks

In each concourse and the food court, little leprechauns won’t find Irish coffee here, but try the matcha tea latte or the iced peach green tea lemonade. And, Starbucks is touting a new pistachio latte that is not technically green but is so good, you’ll feel the luck o’ the Irish!

Vino Volo

In Concourse A, get your green on at Vino Volo. Breakfast is served all day, so try the avocado toast. A toasted baguette features the aforementioned avocado and roasted red peppers and is drizzled with a balsamic glaze. You can add bacon for $4 for a little crispy salty goodness. Or, check out their basil pesto flatbread. With goat cheese and roasted tomatoes, it’s an impressive spin on the classic pizza, and it’s big enough to share! Another green choice is the grilled chicken salad. Mixed greens, goat cheese and pepitas, all tossed in a champagne vinaigrette. Add avocado for just $3 to make it even greener!

Wolfgang Puck

Visit Concourse B and get a salad premade or, if you have time to relax, sit in the restaurant and get it made-to-order. Bonus: The restaurant has a great view of planes coming and going.

American Craft Tavern

Located in Concourse C, American Craft Tavern is now open for drinks and grab-and-go food items like leafy green salads (which customers can eat on the premises) with an expanded menu coming soon!
