Sun Country Airlines’ inaugural flight takes off from John Glenn International

The newest air service option for Columbus travelers has taken off! Sun Country Airlines’ first scheduled flight from John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) departed for Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) on Thursday, May 4, at 8:00 p.m.

Sun Country will operate twice weekly seasonal flights to Minneapolis through November 20. Minneapolis is among the top 20 markets for Columbus travelers, offering world-class attractions, museums, lakes, parks, art galleries, professional sports, and much more. To commemorate the inaugural flight, a water cannon salute was perfomed by the CMH’s Airport Fire Fighting & Rescue team.
