Our commitment

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority wants everyone to be able to use flycolumbus.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or other assistive technology.

The standard we follow

We design, build and test this website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. It’s the standard the U.S. Department of Justice uses for state and local government websites under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Where we are today

flycolumbus.com partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA, which means some parts of the site don’t fully meet the standard yet. In September 2026, the site was reviewed page by page against WCAG 2.1 AA, and we’re working through what that review found. Recent improvements include a rebuilt site header and menus and a new, accessible nonstop destinations page, with more fixes underway.

Known limitations

  • Some older PDF documents aren’t fully accessible yet. We’re reviewing our document library, and we’ll provide any document in an accessible format on request.
  • Some interactive features, such as maps, flight status and data filters, are still being improved.
  • Some links lead to websites run by other organizations, such as airlines and booking services. We can’t control their accessibility, but we’re glad to help you find the information another way.

How we check the site

We use automated testing tools, manual review with a keyboard and screen readers, and ongoing monitoring of the site. The staff who update the site are trained to keep new content accessible.
