Take your first step toward overcoming flight anxiety in this free, interactive workshop hosted by John Glenn Columbus International Airport, The Ohio State University, and American Airlines. Over four hours, you’ll learn about how planes fly, aviation safety, and strategies to manage anxiety while also experiencing airport procedures firsthand.

What you'll experience
- Learn how aircraft fly and the layers of aviation security
- Identify and manage anxiety associated with flying
- Go through checkpoint security screening
- Board a stationary aircraft (when available)
Participant information
- Eligibility: Limited to 20 participants, ages 18+.
- Requirements: Must present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or passport.
- Pre-class commitment: About 2 hours of independent online activities to complete before the class.
- Workshop commitment: Attend the full 4-hour session.
