Development

Following years of planning and the culmination of several enabling projects, the Columbus Regional Airport Authority is taking another step forward in pursuit of its master plan to build a new terminal for John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH). In 2022, CRAA will evaluate building a new terminal through working with a master architect to initiate design efforts for a new facility.

The existing terminal, which opened more than six decades ago in 1958, is reaching capacity, and investments in aging infrastructure are no longer sustainable.

Our growing region is ready for a new terminal that will connect Ohio with the world for years to come, fueling economic prosperity while serving as the front door to our vibrant community.

Strategic opportunities for businesses

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority is committed to partnering with a diverse mix of companies to bring these projects to life. Contact Kim Burtis in our Office of Contracts and Procurement at 614-236-5010 to schedule a marketing visit. This is a great way to meet the team and introduce yourself and your company's services.
